Spring Detox from a Yogic Perspective




  1. From a yogic point of view doing a Detox means removing harmful substances from your body, mind and environment.

    1. Detox your body

    2. Detox your mind & emotions

    3. Detox your environment


DETOXIFICATION OF THE BODY means the removal of toxins from the body. We humansg absorb toxins—preservatives, pesticides, stimulants, and heavy metals—through food, water, and air. Also, your own body produces toxins, called metabolic waste products, as a natural result of  digestion and respiration.

 Luckily, your digestive, endocrine, and circulatory systems are equipped with a complex set of mechanisms designed to eliminate these toxins through your mouth, eyes, skin, colon, urinary tract—even your breath. 

The trouble is that too much sugar, caffeine, and processed foods, little to no exercise, and stress can slow down  the body's natural detox function.


While there are many approaches to detoxing, they aim for one simple thing: to help the body do what it's already trying to do. Your body is always getting rid of toxins, but you can aid that natural process.

The major detox players in the body are the lymph, blood, liver, kidneys, colon, and parasympathetic nervous system.


WHAT NEEDS TO BE CLEANSED:


1.  CLEANSING THE COLON ( LARGE INTESTINES)

This is the most important step when you do a detox.If the large intestine is not cleaned regularly, minerals, vitamins and water are not absorbed properly, This is the source of many of our health problems. How can you cleanse the colon ? Eating a lot of fiber. For example: 3 x per day a handful of brown rice for a week . (You can add chia seed, linseed and grinded walnut to it and sometimes vegetables)


2. CLEANSING THE BLOOD VESSELS & THE LYMPHATIC SYSTEM 


Garlic

Lemon essential oil

Grapefruit essential oil

Zendocrin essential oil 


With a glass of water : 3 drops ( ( each oil)  2 x per day - zendocrin, lemon, grapefruit oil

2 drops ( each oil) 4 x per day - only lemon and grapefruit Cholesterol deposited on the walls of blood vessels and calcified can be removed with these oils. ZENDOCRIN blend - contains cilantro and it starts to flush out the heavy metals from the cells.


3. CLEANSING OF THE LYMPHATIC SYSTEM FORM OUTSIDE WITH MASSAGE OILS


Make a massage oil from the following essential oils ( legs, lower belly, groin areas)


Rosemary - it dissolves hydrochloric acid crystals

Cypress - it`s very helpful for lymph flowJuniper berry - it helps to flush out the excess water

Patchouli - it supports the flexibility of the blood vessels

Clocve - it cleanse the stuck informations form our cells


4. CLEANSING THE LIVER

Drink plenty of herb teas( 3 x per day) , such as Nettle, Dandelion,Milk Thistle, Black Wormwood


OTHER IMPORTANT ASPECTS OF HELPING THE BODY IN ITHS NATURAL DETOX PROCESS:


  • Improve your diet ( liver friendly diet ) - more greens, fruits, fresh food, no sugar and coffein

  • Drink more mineral water and water with lemon 

  • Eat more sour and bitter food 

  • Use natural beauty products - don`t put harmful chemicals on your skin

  • Exercise regularly 

  • Sleep enough ( quality sleep not quantity)
